This policy explains how SWS Clear Tech ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit swscleartech.com or get in touch with us.
Who we are
SWS Clear Tech is a company registered in the United Kingdom, company number 17481466. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. What we collect
When you fill in a form on our website, we collect the details you give us. These may include your name, company, email address, phone number, a description of your project and your preferred time for a call.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working.
If you become a client, we also keep the information needed to deliver and invoice our work, such as contact details, project correspondence and billing details.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and arrange a call
- prepare a quote or proposal
- deliver, support and invoice the work you ask us to do
- keep our website secure and running properly
- meet our legal and accounting obligations
We rely on the following legal bases under UK data protection law: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, and complying with the law.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information with trusted providers who help us run our business, including:
- Netlify, which hosts our website and receives form submissions
- Google Fonts, which serves the typeface used on the site and receives your IP address when the font loads
- email, accounting and project management tools we use to work with clients
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where information is transferred abroad, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 2 years if they don't lead to a project. We keep client records for 6 years after our work together ends, to meet accounting and legal requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise the information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or restrict how we use it
- ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information. The website is served over an encrypted connection.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
